With over 20 miles of glistening white sand Daytona Beach is famous the world over. For those interested in speed the area has strong links with both racing (Nascar in particular) and speed records with Sir Malcolm Campbell hitting 276mph, thereby breaking the land speed record, in 1935 ; the speed limit today is 10mph!

The beach is also great for turtle spotting between April and October each year or other maritime activities such as pleasure boat cruises. Another great opportunity to unwind after a few days of hectic ‘theme park’ activity.
